What Témoin records
When you start an activity and grant location access, Témoin records coordinates, timestamps, altitude, speed, course, and horizontal accuracy. It also stores pauses, interruptions, and quality notices derived from those readings.
Where it goes
Session files are stored in the app’s private container on your iPhone. The MVP has no account, analytics, advertising, cloud sync, or automatic upload. Deleting the app normally deletes its local app data, subject to iOS backup and device-management behavior.
Sharing
Nothing is exported until you choose a session, a file format, and a destination in the iOS share sheet. A route can reveal sensitive places and routines. Review the recipient and file before sharing.
Permissions
Témoin asks for While In Use location access. An active session may continue receiving location updates in the background while iOS displays its system indicator. The MVP does not request always-location, camera, microphone, contacts, motion, health, photos, tracking, or notification access.
Your controls
You can pause or finish a recording, discard a recovered draft, delete a completed session, revoke location permission in iOS Settings, and choose whether to export.
